This page is designed to give you some ideas of healthy recipes to prepare for your child and family. Also the links on the left have information about nutrition and choosing healthy food options.  This information can help build the foundation you need to create a well balanced diet for you and your family.

In addition to using these recipes, visit the USDA Recipe Finder for a huge variety of healthy recipes and foods to eat (click here) .  This site allows you to choose recipes based on a specific ingredient that your child enjoys.  It also allows you to sort the recipes based on which meal you are cooking, the audience you are cooking for, the cost of the meal, the amount of preparation time for the meal, the cooking equipment available, and foods rich in calcium, whole grains and fruits and vegetables.
